Refereeing is a great way to stay active and involved in the game.

England has a long and proud history of producing some of the world's best referees.

Whether you want to referee at local level, remain active in the game following injury or retirement or officiate international competitions, England Roller Hockey is dedicated to making your journey as rewarding as possible.

1. Take the online Level 1 course

This is a free online training module which provides an introduction to the Rules of the Game and interpretations. Successful candidates will demonstrate awareness in the Rules of the Game and have the necessary knowledge to become an entry level referee.

2. Register with the association

To complete your registration as a new referee, you must be registered with the association. There is no fee if you are not a player.
