Position Overview

Region Match Officials is pivotal in guiding and coordinating match officials within their designated region. As a member of the national Match Officials Committee, they strive for officiating excellence and uniformity throughout the nation.

Primary Responsibilities

Recruitment: Engage with clubs to pinpoint and enlist fresh match officials.

Training & Development: Organise and supervise training endeavours for match officials, fostering their growth and expertise.

Competition Coordination: Ensure sufficient supply of accredited match officials for appointment by Region Competitions to regional contests and provide assistance for national competitions.

National Collaboration: Collaborate within the Match Officials Committee to uphold consistent and top-tier match officiating standards.

Committee Participation: Regularly convene with the Match Officials Committee, addressing pertinent topics and spearheading initiatives.

Qualifications

Sporting Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of roller hockey's rules and regulations.

Officiating Experience: Prior experience as a match official, ideally in premier competitions.

Communication Excellence: Stellar communication and organizational aptitude.

Team Dynamics: Proven ability to work synergistically with a diverse range of stakeholders, including coaches, athletes, and fellow officials.

Leadership Prowess: Robust leadership and decisive decision-making skills.
