Position Overview

ERH Fundraising Positions

These roles are vital to the continued success of the ERH and its commitment to driving growth within the sport of Roller Hockey in the coming years.

Primary Responsibilities

Fundraising team members will focus on the following key areas:

  • Grant Acquisition: Identifying and applying for grants that support Roller Hockey, youth sport development, and overall sport growth.
  • Sponsorship Development: Securing sponsorships for National and Regional Teams, as well as the National Academy Training Programme.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Establishing working relationships with like-minded organisations that align with ERH's mission and values.

Approval and Oversight

  • Once a potential financial arrangement is identified, it will be shared with the ERH Oversight Committee for awareness or approval.
  • Any arrangement requiring ongoing NRHA involvement or exceeding £10,000 must be formally approved by the National Executive Committee (NEC).

Compensation Structure

  • Fundraising team members are entitled to a retainer of 10% of any successfully secured grant.
  • If multiple members contribute to the process, the 10% retainer will be equitably divided among those involved.

Reporting and Payment Process

  • Upon completion of any agreement, a Fundraising Report Form must be submitted to the ERH Treasurer and General Secretary for payment approval.
  • Sponsorships and partnership arrangements will be reviewed by the ERH, which will determine any applicable remuneration for the fundraising team member(s).
