Position Overview

The Region Secretary is an instrumental figure within the regional committee, spearheading administrative and documentation processes. Working closely with the Regional Chairperson and National Secretary, this role hinges on fostering synergistic relationships with committee peers, ensuring both seamless communication and collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities

Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all meetings and decisions endorsed by the regional committee.

Agenda Management: Timely coordination and dissemination of meeting agendas and minutes to committee members.

Document Submission: Ensure prompt completion and submission of crucial documentation to the national office, including but not limited to, affiliation and competition entry forms.

Event Coordination: Assist in organizing regional undertakings, encompassing training sessions and tournaments.

Public Communication: Address inquiries from the general public, disseminating information pertinent to the sport and regional structure.

Regulatory Awareness: Stay abreast of amendments to regulations or policies with potential implications for the region or its constituents.

Qualifications

Organizational Mastery: Exceptional organizational and administrative capabilities.

Communication Excellence: Superior written and verbal communication prowess.

Team Collaboration: Demonstrated proficiency in team-centric environments, underscoring collaborative endeavors.

Software Familiarity: Acquaintance with Microsoft Office or analogous office software.
