Farnham RHC

Rink Hockey, or Roller Hockey originated in England and was first played at The Lava Rink in Denmark Hill, London, in 1885. The game consisted of 10 men on each side, and was first played with a tennis ball and with ordinary walking sticks. Players use quad skates and excessive physical contact is forbidden.

The Farnham Roller Hockey Club was formed in 1975 and has been part of the Southern and South Eastern regions of the sport. The club has also played at National level and has taken part in tournaments in Europe. Players from the club have represented England in European and World Championships.

We currently run junior and senior teams for everyone, from beginners to the more experience players. New members always welcome.

We have beginner's sessions at 5pm on Sundays. This session is aimed at 7 to 14 year olds. You will learn to skate, enjoy playing different games on skates such as bulldog, also learn the skills to play roller hockey and finish each session with a game.

For the more experienced skaters and senior players the session begins at 6.30pm on Sundays.
